Homemade Farm Fresh Popcorn

This weekend on my Patch column, "Cooking with Chelsea", I posted a Homemade Farm Fresh Popcorn recipe.  It's not quite a recipe, but more of a fun method to making popcorn!  I found dried corn on the cob at our local farm stand and popped popcorn straight from the cob.

It was easy and so fresh and flavorful, providing a far healthier option than the pre-bagged microwave popcorn you can buy at the grocery store.

If buttery popcorn is what you prefer, this homemade popcorn can be adjusted to your desired taste by melting some butter, drizzling it over the top, and adding a sprinkling of salt for a healthy and irrisistable snack perfect for any time of day!

  4. I LOVE home made stove top popcorn! That and pancakes are my dad's specialties. It always makes me think of the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving special when they had popcorn and toast for dinner! lol
